Tips for displaying and selling my jewelry:

Put pieces of Velcro on the back of the earring cards. Cover a board with indoor/outdoor grey

carpet or fuzzy velour fabric. Hang on the wall or put on an easel then stick the earring cards

on it. Keeping it at eye level will increase your sales.

Tips for Increasing Your Retail Outlet's Sales--

Want to know a surefire way to make a sale?  Talk to your customers and smile at them. Hand

 them my jewelry so they can see how feather-light  it is. Tell them that it never requires

polishing since it cannot tarnish! Assure your customers that my jewelry is  hypoallergenic.

 Once people wear my anodized aluminum jewelry, they will be hooked by its beauty, comfort

and quality and will come back for  more.

What is important to the people who come into your store?

 Your store may have the greatest location, best merchandise and  displays around. However,

if you want to increase your sales, you may want to consider the following--

As a shopper, I often see things I like. But I often hesitate to buy. What makes me

get past my hesitation to make the purchase? The salesperson! If someone smiles at me and is

friendly (without being overbearing) I will often go ahead and buy the item, even if it is more

than I want to spend. The salesperson makes the difference! It is helpful if the salesperson is

informative, but more than that, I buy because the salesperson makes me feel important.

 I leave with something I like and a friendly feeling about the store! Now, I don't have to tell

you what a sour salesperson or lack of interaction can mean for your store's sales.

One more thing: When you are selling handcrafts it really helps to sell the item by talking

about the artist and how they make it. Are your salespeople educated about the

artist and the process used in making those lovely handcrafts? An interesting story behind a

craft will usually sell it for you. You may also want to put up a picture of the artist with a short

 bio with info about how they make their craft. The buyer gets to take home a bit of information

 and a good feeling about the artist and the art object. And, the store gets to make a another sale.

A case in point: My most treasured items that I have purchased are ones where I had a good

feeling about them when I bought them. For instance, if I buy something lovely on vacation,

it will always evoke a pleasant feeling and good memory when I look at (or wear it).

Paint a lovely, interesting picture in words about the item that is being considered and watch

your sales increase. Hope this helps.

Example:  A local restaurant has a take-out service we enjoy. Whenever we go inside to pickup the order and end up having to wait, they always offer us a free drink and seat us on a comfortable bench.  A great way to keep valued customers!
