Eat dinner together.
Ideally, eating dinner apart should be done no more than once a week. These
family times can be great ways to bond and learn about each other. Light a
candle for fun and try setting the table a little fancier one night a week.
Play board games,
pool, ping pong together as a family. If you don't have family, call and invite
a few people over. Put out some snacks and drinks. It doesn't have to be fancy
or complicated to have fun.

Take a hike or walk in
the neighborhood with family or friends. It is healthy, enlightening and
enjoyable!
Host a night to share
things you no longer want. Have everyone bring items. Number each item, lay them
out and have a silent auction. The highest bidder wins the item. Donate the
money to charity. Or, just have people draw numbers. Each person gets their turn
at picking out his/her favorite item. You may want to take pictures or videos of
the event. This can be lots of fun and really funny!

Have your neighbors
over for coffee. When was the last time you even said "Hello" to your neighbors?
You may just end up making some great new friends.
Rent movies and relax
with your family and friends.
Make a family
scrapbook/album together. Have each person write comments about the various
photos.
Pick up the phone and
call friends and relatives. When was the last time you spoke in person (versus
email or letters)?
