A Balinese View Watercolor, color pencil
Cindy Lowy Fess "While in Bali, Indonesia, I sat outside
my hotel room and painted this sketch of my view. I felt that I was in
the Garden of Eden. A view of the sea was below, and white frangipani
blossoms filled the air with a heavenly fragrance." ~Cindy

What inspired this painting:
"I love butterflies. They are beautiful,
graceful, and almost ethereal. Their existence is brief, but their
effect on us can be profound and last forever. When one can stop and
smell the roses, appreciate, and catch this beauty as it flies, then one
is truly blessed, and gratitude and joy must follow."

What inspired this painting:
I love unicorns, nature spirits and fairies. This painting represents
ones inward journey to their own divine spirit. Life is a process, and
mystery makes it more exciting. In this painting, there is a lunar moth,
reflecting the need to go within, to one's dark place in order to come
out into the light of day, or understanding of one's most perfect self.
There is a glass pyramid in the center, with a key which represents the
key that each of us holds to our own love of self, or own unique
identity.
Follow the unicorn, or your own sense of wonder and mystery into the
unknown territory of the woods. Embrace your sense of childlike wonder
and you will be amazed at the discoveries waiting for you. Let the
fairies help you as you enjoy your journey inward and onward."

"Harmony Moon"

What inspired this painting:
"Balance is necessary for a calm, uncluttered life. I added the yin yang
symbol within the moon to reflect how easy it can be to balanced when
one goes within through meditation and reflection. The phases of the
moon can tell us much about the phases of our own lives.
The moth is a fleeting expression of grandeur and beauty. To fully
appreciate the many gifts we encounter, we must remember to stop and
seize the beauty and joy of each moment.
The tiny goddess in this picture reminds us of the grace and nurturing
inspired by the feminine energies.
The infinity symbol reminds us that time never ends, nor does love, or
beauty, or even joy. Love is ever present. We need only to give it and
receive it."

What inspired this painting:
"I wanted to show that millisecond before we connect
with the divine. There is a moment when we know we must reach out for
this unconditional love of our Creator, as we recognize that special
divinity that resides within us. The light of love always surrounds us.
It blooms and grows once we decided to truly see it, receive it
and give it.
The butterfly symbolizes the special transformation
which takes place once we allow the unconditional love of our Creator to
bless and heal us."

"Sedona Sunset"
SOLD
large acrylic painting by Cindy Lowy
Fess
What inspired this painting:
"I was in Sedona, AZ sitting on top of Airport Mesa. It
was sunset...the view below was dazzling as the sun cast rainbow hues of
light behind the clouds while the red rocks glowed orange and purple as
the sun sank lower. I was looking at the valley below, enjoying the cool
breeze and reflecting on the beauty and power of our Creator's
handiwork. The air was crystal clear, seeming almost to vibrate with
color and sound. I felt so calm, so healed, so alive. My spirit soared,
and I felt at one with all creation.
Later, in my studio while painting this scene (which is
intended to be a self-portrait of sorts), I added a red-tailed hawk to
reflect the beauty, power, and freedom that I was feeling at the time.
This is a powerful painting, and brings a feeling of calm, majesty, and
euphoria." ~Cindy

COMMENTS
HELLO CINDY,
Today I was drawn to two pictures which really spoke to
me.
All artists appreciate hearing how their work affects others and so I
wanted to tell you how two of your pictures really drew me in.
The Hummingbird Joy should be on greeting cards so more people can feel
this art. I love this one. I am so absolutely drawn to the angel and her
unusual halo (infinity) that for moments I miss the hummingbird, then I
find myself torn between enjoying the little bird or going back to feast
my eyes on the angel. This is a picture where I find myself being drawn
in! And I like the feeling!
Some believe the hummingbird flits between the two worlds, the living
and heaven (or the living and the dead) and this painting really gets me
thinking about that. Nicely done girl.
I also need to comment on Sedona Sunset. Wow and Wow This is a
masterpiece! I find you hold more power in this picture. My eyes
constantly return to you.
I see your eyes locked with the eyes of the hawk and then I find my eyes
returning to be locked on you. This is a wonderful piece of work!

Dear Cindy,
I'm writing
so you can see yourself and
your art through another person's point of view...and it is
something we can never see in ourselves...so someone has to do it
for us..
Your jewelry speaks to people on
multidimensional levels that they do not understand -
but they like it! Meaning that you bring out the beauty in them
because you have given them the spirit of yourself of your
Love...and like the proverbial 'moth-to-the-flame' they want that
feeling of beauty and Source that you so purely represent....they
are drawn to the qualities that you imbue in the art of your
jewelry...and that is what I call 'The Art of God' ...
Moving on to the the crystal
gemstone pieces....this is a dramatic shift in helping people to see
the beauty in themselves...
A lot transpires in the process of
getting your works of art.. Source is reaching out through the
mineral kingdom to whisper those messages of love in electromagnetic
waves of pulsating beauty.
And in your art that you paint or
draw you are now being brought to yet another level of creativity
that will yield enormous benefits for yourself and your clients
...for in your painting...you are bringing Man a moment closer to
God...a step closer to Source ....because your art is not a
tangible, monetary experience...it is a 'spiritual' experience.
