What I love about Kentucky--

"Kentucky really supports its artists, musicians and writers. We are fortunate to have the Kentucky Craft Marketing Program which mentors and helps its artists. And, who can help but be inspired by Kentucky's rich cultural heritage, rolling hills, beautiful horses, rock fences, historic sites, and so much more. I love being an artist and writer in Kentucky!"

Cindy Lowy Fess-

Kentucky Artist, Jeweler, Author, Speaker, Teacher

Meet Cindy Lowy Fess—Born and raised in the "heart of the Bluegrass," Winchester, KY, Cindy moved to Louisville in 1981.

“I have been an artist as long as I can remember,” says Cindy Lowy-Fess, who loves the creative process and exploring avenues of artistic expression. “My work is my passion and joy.”

This creative spirit unleashes the artist’s muse in multiple media. Also an accomplished writer and speaker, Lowy-Fess’ talents stem from family roots. The works of her famous father, the late Homer C. Ledford, a bluegrass and folk musician, legendary dulcimer maker and inventor of musical instruments, are currently part of a special exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution.

Following his path, Lowy-Fess has participated in the 2004 Gallopalooza, Louisville, Kentucky's civic pride project that features brightly painted, life-size horses; authored a self-help book, Harmony and Me; and designed handcrafted jewelry worn by celebrities. Her art has graced the covers of numerous publications, as well as public institutions and private business and homes.

A Spiritual Awakening-

In 1996, Cindy went through a powerful spiritual awakening. Not long afterwards, an angel appeared to Cindy with a joyful message, which led her to rededicate her life to helping people by combining all her creative talents and abilities. Not only is Cindy artistic and musical, she also receives divine guidance and inspiration through all her senses-- words, visions, feeling and sensations; Cindy sees, hears and feels the spirits of departed souls and angels. These spiritual abilities bring profound truth, inspiration and wisdom to all she does. Cindy offers her gifts to others through spiritually guided art, handcrafted jewelry, inspired speaking, writing, spiritual counseling, special guided meditations, and intuitive Angel Readings.

Heeding the Call- How Cindy was led to use her intuitive/psychic ability to help others.
