Love Society is Born

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no records of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. ~I Corinthians 13:4-7

In 1995, shortly after my spiritual awakening (which I write about in my book, Harmony and Me), I had a dream in which a customer asked me if I had any angel pins. I answered, "I certainly do." I showed her a pin of an angel holding a large, glowing bright pink heart and said, "This is from THE LOVE SOCIETY."

I awoke, still mesmerized by the glowing pink heart while the new phrase, "The Love Society," echoed in my mind. I was puzzled as to the meaning of the dream, but it felt so significant I could not get it out of my head. I knew it was divinely inspired, but was unsure of its meaning.

Not long after, I was inspired to print cards with the phrase "The Love Society". (see below):

I gave hundreds of the the cards away. But it wasn't until five years later that the true intent of the dream became clear. One night, Mary (mother of Jesus) woke me up from a deep sleep and told me to start a prayer group. Her instructions were accompanied by flashes of golden light over my head. I saw a vision of her and listened to her words. Afterwards, I wrote the message on a piece of paper by my bed and promptly went back to sleep.

When I awoke the next morning, I remembered the message to "start a prayer group." But, I did not know how to go about it. I was afraid people might not come. I was afraid I would not be a good leader. I did not know how to conduct a prayer group. The excuses went on and on. Weeks passed and still I had done nothing to start the group.

Finally, I felt an urgent need to "just do it," so I asked God to tell me how to lead the group. When I sat down at my computer, God answered my prayer and the ideas began to flow. I spent an entire day formulating the mission, goals, and format for the meetings. As I typed, I suddenly got the idea to call our group "The Love Society."

I knew that "The Love Society" was to be a group where people could gather to pray, meditate, discuss spirituality and learn ways to bring about a true "society of love." I asked God to bring people to the first meeting and was surprised and happy to receive a good turnout. I marveled at the timing and perfection of God's plan as "The Love Society" was formed.

My angelic guides asked me to tell others how to start their own groups. Although many places of worship have their own prayer groups, many do not! My angels told me that some people don't know how to pray and are afraid to start. Some are even afraid that God is mean and vindictive.

I do not believe God is mean. In fact, I believe God wants to extend His unconditional love to each of us, but will not override our rejection of Him. Through my own meditations and prayers, I received information to help people open their hearts to God and learn how to communicate effectively with Him. Some of this information is revealed in my book, "Harmony and Me," as well as here on this site.

I hope the world will eventually become a true "Love Society." It is what it must become if we are to overcome violence and survive as a race. I pledge my efforts to assist in this wonderful growth process. There is no greater honor than to participate in the unfolding of a true Love Society here on earth. I joyfully align with God's will. I hope you will join with our ever-growing group as we learn to think, see and feel from our hearts.

"Truth has many aspects. Infinite truth has infinite expressions. Though the sages speak in diverse ways, they express one and the same Truth. The ignorant say, 'What I believe is true; others are wrong.' It is because of this attitude that causes dispute among men. But all the doubts vanish when one masters the self and finds peace by realizing the heart of Truth. Thereupon dispute, too, is at an end."

Protect yourself and increase your energy by memorizing holy scripture, verses from spiritual hymns and songs. Doing so will help you withstand temptations and difficult circumstances when they arise.
