PRAYERS

Guardian Angel Prayer

Angel of God, my guardian dear
To whom God's love commits me here
Ever this day (night) be at my side
To light and guard, to rule and guide.

Amen.

 

Prayers for Our Troops—

 May be used with a rosary, chaplet or prayer necklace

Heartfelt prayer is powerful. Say these prayers often to give added protection to our soldiers.

 

Note: Start first prayer at pendant or medal: You may wish to add your loved one(s) name(s) to each prayer.

 

Main Prayer: St. Michael, the Archangel, defend our loved ones in battle, that they may not perish. ***

(Repeat this prayer when you come to each of the single-spaced beads).

 

Next, start at first bead on left, working your way around necklace (rosary):

 

 1) May God bless our soldiers with confidence and courage.

     (Repeat for a total of 3 times, once for each bead in group of three.)

 

***Say Main Prayer (as above)

 

 2) May God bless our soldiers with good health and strength. (Repeat 3 times).

 

 3) May our soldiers feel the unconditional love and  protection of their guardian angels.

     (Repeat 3 times).

 

 4) May God give our loved ones the strength and patience to endure any hardship. (Repeat 3   

     times).

 

 5) May God help our soldiers focus on positive things and open their eyes to His presence    

     everywhere. (Repeat 3 times).

 

 6) May God bless our soldiers with a spirit of sacrifice, duty, loyalty and honor for our country

     and its principles of freedom. (Repeat 3 times).

 

 7) May God free our soldiers from anger, hate and ill will and bless them with a spirit of love and   

     compassion toward all people. (Repeat 3 times).

 

 8) May God keep our soldiers from falling into temptations and deliver them from evil.

     (Repeat 3 times).

 

 9) May God comfort our soldiers and give them inner peace. (Repeat 3 times).

The Medjugorje Peace Chaplet

The Medjugorje Peace Chaplet can be prayed on ordinary rosary beads. Our Lady has called for us to pray for peace in the world, in our families and in our hearts. The chaplet is prayed as follows:

bulletBegin in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
bulletPray the Apostles Creed.
bulletPray the Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be seven times each.
bulletConclude with the sign of the cross, the sign of our salvation
